GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
EMAK EMWA Fans are designed to face to heavy industrial conditions, especially Metro Tunnel Ventilations where the High Air Volumes needed for Fire Smoke Relief.
The design is completely suitable to work for NFPA 130 criteria EMAK EMWA Fans are type tested and certified for high temperatures by well-known independent international accrediting bodies (Tests are carried out by laboratories according to ISO, EN and BS standards). The steel construction and accessories are appropriate to carry heavy motors and impellers used for this purpose.

APPLICATIONS
EMWA types can be produced Unidirectional (EMWA) or Reversible (EMWA-R). EMAK Company has patent protection right for EMWA-R. (Reversible Form of Blades)

FAN CASING
The casing is formed from the St 37.2 steel sheets with integral supports which is resulting absolutely rigid construction. The grey (RAL 7036) paint finish is applied after production, optionally hot dip galvanization or epoxy paint is available.

IMPELLER
Adjustable blades are made of aluminum alloy or carbon steel that gives possibility to be adjust manually even at side and work in high efficiency. Static and dynamic vibration defects are recovered after production according to appropriate ISO norm.
EMWA series:
- K series is between Ø1400 – 2000 mm with 1500 rpm (4 Poles)
- L series is between Ø1400 – 2500 mm with 1000 rpm (6 Poles)
- M series is between Ø1400 – 3550 mm with 750 rpm (8 Poles)
ACCESSORIES
Special vibration mountings are included in standard delivery.The Fan Control System either with soft starter or frequency driver which can be integrated to a digital PLC for SCADA control system is preferred for EMWA, also manual or remote conventional electric control system is possible.EMAK Recommends SLC Type silencers for EMWA Series since high air volumes increases sound levels.Also you can use following accessories with EMWA Models:
